I bought this product and was deployed to the desert shortly after. I had little time with it before I left but, it looked to be very thorough. My only thought at this point is the book would have been easier to use if it were on a ringed binder type of publication. this would allow it to be easily used on a music stand without having to try and hold it open at the same time. I would even suggest three hole punched so we could put it in a binder ourselves. I don't know whow this would affect pricing or if it is econimically feasile but, it would make the book more user friendly with a bass in your hands.
I can't wait to get back home and dive into it!!!!!
thanks Mark

Thank you for writing. I do understand where you are coming from. The Perfect Binding, (aka paperback, glue binding), is the industry standard for this type of music print book. Unfortunately, Many retail stores will not carry the book if it is spiral bound. The good news is, once you crack the book open, it's pretty good about holding its place. I speak from experience, because I've used it and the guitar version with hundreds of students. Don't be afraid to open it all the way, (360 degrees), the binding will hold. Also, most inexpensive music stands come with clips which are designed to hold your page. This is very helpful for new books that aren't broken in.
We can't wait til you get back and look forward to your safe return!
Thanks,
Mark
